At the beginning of June, it rained heavily from afternoon to evening in Mount Rinjani National Park and the surrounding area, even though June is not the rainy season. What happen?
Climbing when it rains is certainly not very comfortable. Besides, because the road becomes slippery, the view will also not be visible to its full potential. Based on the Rinjani Trekking Center team's observations from Senaru village, it is always sunny in the morning. However, the fog began to cover during the day starting at 1 pm.
This was apparently caused by the presence of cyclonic circulation. The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, Geophysics Agency also revealed that, apart from cyclonic circulation, this is also caused by the presence of wind meeting areas (confluence). Lombok Island is one of the areas affected by this extreme weather for the next week. Heavy rain, strong winds and lightning have the potential to occur in the afternoon until evening. So please be careful.
