Since the reopening of climbing after the Covid-19 pandemic, various methods have been used, starting from separating special tickets for general climbers and climbers via trek organizers, combining quotas from several doors into one, to imposing sanctions on Trek organizers who are proven to have hoarded tickets. However, the problem of quotas running out quickly has not been resolved.
In accordance with the number of ticket quotas provided, the Sembalun and Senaru gates were given to 260 climbers who used the services of trek organizers and 140 general climbers. On April 14, 2025, the Mount Rinjani National Park invited various parties, from the Regional Government to the Trek Organizer Forum to discuss this problem so that it was decided that starting April 14, 2025, ticket rescheduling could no longer be done. If you want to reschedule, climbers must buy a new ticket.
For your information, previously, Mount Rinjani National Park allowed 1x free reschedule in the same year. Rescheduling must be done through the e-Rinjani Application the day before the climb. It is hoped that the elimination of this free rescheduling can reduce and even eliminate the hoarders of Rinjani tickets.
