Mountain is one of the most popular destination to celebrate the Independence day for Indonesian. Mountain Rinjani is on the top of the list. Indonesia's Independence day are celebrating every Aug 17th. The trekker expecting to flying the flag at the Summit or Crater Rim Senaru on Aug 17th morning.

In order to reach the Summit or Crater Rim Senaru on Aug 17th morning, the best time to start trekking is in the morning on Aug 16th. So the trekker will stay overnight at Crater Rim Sembalun before Summit the next morning (2am) or Stay at Crater Rim Senaru before flying the flag at the camp site the next morning.

There for it is will be so many trekker on the camp site, both of Crater Rim Senaru or Crater Rim Sembalun on Aug 16th. Crowded and difficult to find a good place to do your tent. Beside that you have to Queuing and waiting to be able to take pictures at the summit which is a small space that could not able to carry everybody. If you like crowd then that will be different story.
