Mount Rinjani Trekking Reopens on August 11, 2025

After an intensive evaluation process and comprehensive improvements to trekking management, we are pleased to announce that trekking activities in six destinations of Mount Rinjani National Park will officially reopen on August 11, 2025. This announcement was issued by the Mount Rinjani National Park Authority through Notice No. PG.6/T.39/TU/KSA.04.01/B/08/2025, dated August 9, 2025.

In addition, trekking ticket reservations will reopen today at 4:00 PM WITA via the eRinjani application. All hikers are expected to comply with the latest regulations and SOPs, which were ratified on August 8, 2025.

Although delayed, this reopening brings fresh optimism for Rinjani’s tourism stakeholders. We sincerely hope that no further fatal accidents will occur on Mount Rinjani.
