Government Regulation Number 36 of 2024 has just been ratified. This regulation regulates the Types and Tariffs of Types of Non-Tax State Revenues Applicable to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. This regulation was signed by President Joko Widodo on September 30, 2024 and must be implemented no later than 30 days thereafter.
Previously, Government Regulation Number 12 of 2014 was in effect. With the issuance of this new regulation, the old regulation is declared invalid. What are the rules for non-tax state revenue rates in this new regulation related to climbing Mount Rinjani. Here is the review:
- The entrance ticket for climbers to the Mount Rinjani National Park at the Sembalun, Senaru and Torean gates which are included in class 2 is IDR 200,000/Person/Day for foreign nationals valid on all days. Meanwhile, Indonesian citizens are charged IDR 20,000/Person/Day on weekdays and IDR 30,000/Person/Day on holidays & weekends.
- For visitors who are found entering the Mount Rinjani National Park area without a permit/official ticket, in addition to potential criminal penalties, a fine of 5 x the number of days in the area x the ticket price will also be imposed. For example, if a foreigner enters the National Park area without a permit for 3 days, the fine imposed immediately is 5 x 3 x IDR. 200,000 = IDR. 3,000,000.
- The latest regulations also regulate the following permit rates for activities other than climbing:
- Helicopter Use Permit in the area of IDR. 2,000,000
- Commercial Video of IDR. 10,000,000
- Commercial Photography of IDR. 5,000,000
- Preweeding Photography & Videography of IDR. 3,000,000 for foreigners and IDR. 1,000,000 for Indonesian citizens
- Use of Drones of IDR. 2,000,000
That is the type and rate of the latest Non-Tax State Revenue that applies within the Mount Rinjani National Park Area.
