The Mount Rinjani National Park Office (BTNGR) has temporarily suspended the activity of climbing Mount Rinjani on the island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, for three months from January 1st to March 31st, 2020.

After 16 days closed since October 20th, 2019 due to wildfire, Today November 6th, 2019 Rinjani National Park is Officially Open for trekking, this announced by Official Letter from National Park Management Number PG.890/T.39/TU/KS/11/2019 signed by Head of Rinjani National Park Management on Nov 5th, 2019.
