Mount Rinjani Trekking Reopens on August 11, 2025

The Mount Rinjani National Park Authority announced the reopening of six trekking destinations starting August 11, 2025, following intensive evaluations and management improvements. Ticket reservations via the eRinjani app reopen on August 9 at 4:00 PM WITA under new regulations and SOPs.....

Rinjani Trail Repairs Completed, Awaiting Central Government Approval to Reopen

On July 30, 2025, repair works on the trail to Segara Anak Lake from the Sembalun Crater Rim were completed after 11 days. The project involved the Mount Rinjani National Park Authority, Rinjani Squad, trekking organizers, porters, and the Ojek Association, supported by Rp112.2 million in funding from the Trek Organizer Forum. The trail is now awaiting reopening approval from the Central Government.....

Mount Rinjani Halts New Hiking Tickets After Two Accidents

On July 17, 2025, the Mount Rinjani National Park Authority announced a temporary suspension of new hiking ticket sales following two consecutive accidents on the trail to Segara Anak Lake from the Sembalun Crater Rim. Hikers with existing tickets may still proceed, but access to the lake is prohibited while safety evaluations are underway.....
